Gayle Oblea is a Filipino director, producer, and writer from Manila, Philippines. She studied Film and Production at CIIT College of Arts. Her passion for filmmaking and art was deeply rooted in childhood and her greatest influence was her father, Antonio Bernardo Garcia, a Filipino painter.

Her first short film “Blush” landed her eight awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay at SineSiklab.

Today, Oblea is the CEO of Creative Kartel, a film production company based in Manila. She is currently working on her full-length directorial debut with her upcoming film, Pag-Ani.
